When I install GNOME and restart the pc, the applications do not appear

Hey, I’ve got exactly the same problem. I’ve started the installation process (with completely erasing the disk each time) two times, it still doesn’t work.

Do I need to disable TPM before installing Manjaro?

Thanks a lot for your help, I didn’t expect answers so quickly. SecureBoot and TPM seem to be seperated. My (Surface) UEFI has different controls for Secure Boot and TPM and after I disabled Secure Boot TPM was still enabled. I’ll try to install Manjaro while TPM is enabled.
