What is wrong with video colors?

Still fails, I removed those packages. I will try by CLI.

sudo pacman -R video-ncidia.

That won’t work, because video-nvidia is not a package.

What exactly do you mean by “it fails”? Without any output, we don’t know what failed.

Kernal 6.12 won’t boot now, not sure if I should try in the CLI, not wanting to kill 6.6 also. Is there a way to use video-linux without removing the nvidia driver?

No, I’m afraid not.

Hmmm, well it seems I killed 6.12, not so sure about this now. Both 6.12 options don’t boot.

Well, I’m afraid I’m going to have to leave it to someone else then. I’ve given you the best advice I had, but I will admit that I know little to nothing about that Nvidia mess. :frowning_man:

you should boot on USB iso live manjaro,

after chroot ,
do in terminal

pacman -Rdd nvidia-utils psensor libxnvctrl
mhwd -a pci free 0300
mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300
pacman -S nvidia-utils libxnvctrl

So just removing the 6.12 kermel, then reinstalli9ng won’t fix it or just do those commands from CLI on my 6.6 boot?

You wouldn’t need to ‘remove’ the 6.12 kernel - you can first simply install and reboot to use a different kernel.

What you should do next is to simply chroot and follow the instructions - taking care to take notes. Remember, you can copy text and save text files to your storage/backup device (or even a USB drive). When you return to your normal desktop, you can then paste any relevant errors/failures in a fresh post so that someone can see you tried it.

Well I just uninstalled 6.12 & will reinstall. Back with 6.12 things seem good so far.

Nobody really knows what happened, nor what fixed it. :man_shrugging:

I have been wondering if those Nvidia drivers are causing anything to display with a blueish tint, but I can’t remove? It fail, even after I get rid of the packaged it will break. I their a way to reboot & only use to video-linux driver?

I’m using:

Thu Apr 17 17:30:11 2025
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| NVIDIA-SMI 570.133.07 Driver Version: 570.133.07 CUDA Version: 12.8 |
|-----------------------------------------+------------------------+----------------------+

And no blueish tint here.

I do wish nvidia would come out with a Wayland setting manager. The blued tint isn’t a issue now though. Delete, sorry about thia uawlwss topic.

Need to keep the left hand anchored - forefinger on the F (home key) there.

Just saying - I’m trying to retrain myself for a new keyboard, having a few issues triggering the wrong keys with it not being tactile mostly.
