What is qt-fsarchiver like?

an advanced archiving tool - much like clonezilla - but uses fsarchiver - https://www.fsarchiver.org/

Any good tutorial vids.? I am a better learner if I listen.

I used to use it with very good success (Live .iso in Ventoy) when I was using legacy boot and didn’t have separate boot/efi, root and /home partitions. I couldn’t figure out how to backup all of those partitions simultaneously using the GUI.

For now, Rescuezilla/Clonezilla is the better option for me.

I heard it make the backup a .iso & I wan’t to write it to a USB where I can boot from it then install it. If it can do a live boot .iso that would be nice too.

But is seems to be targeted Debian/Red Hat distributions - quite possible it works with Archbased systems as well.

It has been deleted from the AUR six years ago for a severe bug which may result in deletion of the root partition
