Nein im ernst… wenn du mir was schenken würdest und ich die Auswahl hätte, dann nehme ich die L500. :slight_smile: Aber ich würde auf keinen von beiden die üblichen Manjaro Versionen installieren. Das wäre eher ein frustrierendes Erlebnis.

Kannst du knapp erklären, warum?

Als ich mir vor ein Paar Jahren einen Laptop gekauft habe mit dem Vorhaben, Windows und Linux darauf zu installieren und langfristig auf Linux umzusteigen, habe ich angenommen, die Hardware sei für Linux (Distro-unabhängig) mehr oder weniger egal. Ich nehme mittlerweile an, dass mich die Hardware-Wahl damals (Lenovo Yoga) einige Frustration bei meinem Vorhaben gekostet hat, habe aber nach wie vor keine Ahnung, woran das so grundsätzlich eigentlich liegen könnte.

Yeah you are right. Rules are rules. At the end of the day there is no benefit for the wider community and would be only a peronal choice. I close this thread.

If one know some folks here, then it would better writing personal messages. It is even possible to add/invite people to a conversation.

Ja, du hast recht. Regeln sind Regeln. Am Ende des Tages gibt es keinen Nutzen für die Allgemeinheit und es wäre nur eine persönliche Entscheidung. Ich schließe diesen Thread.
