Weird fonts in Chrome

I have installed minimal official KDE version of the manjaro and getting weird web fonts with misguiding cursor spacing

Here are my browser details

:+1: Welcome to Manjaro! :+1:

  1. Please read this:
    How to provide good information
and post some more information so we can see what’s really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…
  2. An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information for us to be able to help you. (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
Also, please copy-paste that output in-between 3 backticks ``` at the beginning and end of the code/text.

:+1:

P.S. If you enter a bit more details in your profile, we can also see which Desktop Environment you’re using, which CPU/GPU or Kernel, … you have without typing it every time

@Fabby here is the output

Thank you for the info.
Does this happen in Firefox as well or only Chrome?

Particularly with Chrome. Working on firebox, chromium and brave browser

you do have weird fonts selected, have you tried other fonts?
noto fonts seems to cover most languages.

Only style changes, but the spacing is still off. For example
image

that looks like terminal, it’s usually set to the system font unless you change it in the terminal settings.

It is ttyd, terminal in browser. Checkout this video. This is simple text editor on web Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software

@Fabby This is when i copied google chrome configs into chromium folder

So, google chrome configs are indeed broken

Drop Chrome from your system like the ballast it is…
