Running Manjaro KDE with the linux kernel 5.8.1-3 and VS Code crashes/exists when attempting to commit to Git.

You could try the AUR version.

Yes, thanks the AUR version works fine. Can’t type “code .” in terminal to open VS code but that is fine. Many thanks.
