Vncserver : I am at a dead point

After reading so many (andmostrly useless) documents, I am at a dead point.
If I use:

x0vncserver -passwordfile ~/.vnc/passwd -display :0 I can connect from another computer using any client.
When I digit vncserver I get: (as suggested in many readings)
usage: vncserver display

Any idea how to proceed??. Tnx
