Virtual Fly Joystick Device Not Connecting X-Plane

The device is a Virtual Fly TQ6 throttle quadrant. X-plane 11.55 in Manjaro.

Manjaro finds the device, inxi --usb, Device 1. The other devices work perfectly in X-plane.

…but the device is not recognised by the program.

I am not a whizz with the terminal, especially Arch Linux.

If anyone can help get this operating, I’d be grateful.
