The new Linux kernel 6.6 brings with it several changes and performance improvements, mainly for Ryzen processors, and security. The new kernel is already considered LTS and is available for download in the Manjaro kernel version management tool, but I would like to know when this version will officially come out in the normal Manjaro updates with pacman. Is it safe or recommended to manually update now?

Kernel 6.6 is already in the repositories, currently at revision 6.6.1. To install it, use… 
sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux66
