Hello everybody, I’m new to Manjaro and I’m trying to revamp an old laptop with a poor processor: Compaq CQ58 with AMD e1-1200 APU, 4GB RAM integrated Radeon 730.
Landed to Manjaro-Xfce with this laptop, I’m also user of Linux Mint/Windows/Mac OS on different HWs.
Manjaro was a very nice surprise, I really like it, everything runs flawlessly except video playing from either youtube and videos embedded in news sites.
I’ve tried all available drivers: video-linux, video-modesetting, video-vesa with no results.
Choosing lower resolutions (360p) improves a little bit, but not enough yet.
Chrome seems a bit faster than Firefox (which I prefer in general) with videos.
Any suggestions?
Any other video driver to try?

There is not much you can do… 1.4 Ghz is very low for modern video playing in a browser. Maybe try playing videos in a normal video player.
