Version discourse august 2026 and firefox 153.0.1 unstable

So what is going on…
It wasnt like that when I created that post What Discourse theme are you using?
It certainly happened later on…

:backhand_index_pointing_down:

but after the deletion of Default i notice the items on the home page are humongous. So i switched to Material design + Clover dark + dark = best of both worlds.

I wasn’t using the Manjaro theme…

:backhand_index_pointing_down:

I already did that yesterday and today it got reverted.

It got reverted because it was disabled for a short time today so the forum put you back on the defaults.
Still, the manjaro theme may have bugs since it was not updated for a long time. Use at your own risk.

With this setting everything is fine for me:

surprised me today…looks so lost and empty :frowning:

Is it worth the effort to make it look halfway aesthetically pleasing again, or are you guys still tinkering with it?

is there a way to force the content column to use the whole width?
its general issue with discourse i struggle with. nearly 50% of the screen left blank…
It seems so inefficient and wasteful. Zoom isn’t a real alternative either—it just makes things bigger, but the proportions still don’t make sense.

We have three themes (four if you count the broken Manjaro theme)

  • Horizon
  • Graceful
  • Material Design

All three has been defaulted to use colorschemes

  • Clover
  • Clover Dark

Which one you prefer is a matter of taste.

I found that the Material Design theme makes most use of the browser’s width.

All themes comes with a sidebar - which can be toggled using the top left hamburger icon.
