mp3 file opened via Dolphin in Mplayer plays hidden and can not be controlled
i do not see the player tab or window anywhere and the keyboard keys to play/stop controls the Audacious not Mplayer.
When i do command “sudo pkill -f mplayer”, then the playback stops. I tried multiple mp3 files.

$ uname -r
5.10.7-3-MANJARO

$ mplayer --version
MPlayer SVN-r38157 © 2000-2019 MPlayer Team

$ dolphin -v
dolphin 20.12.1

mp3 audio can be controlled if mplayer command is used in terminal

If you want GUI controls you should consider installing either gnome-mplayer ; kmplayer or smplayer

The Media Player icon in the system tray has playback controls, and if you install the Win7 Volume Mixer widget, that too can be configured to show playback controls.

I have missed to find such icon, maybe it can be under the volume control icon. Thank you
