No image on main display (laptop)

No image on main display (laptop) since boot. It’s only displayed on external monitor (HDMI).
Re-plug hdmi cable (or reboot with uplagged hdmi cable) does not help.
Reproduced on kernels 5.15, 5.18-19, 6.0 (the current one).

Warning: No installed USB configs!

As for installed graphics drivers: it was combination of video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime + video-modesetting (which worked till recent upgrade), but the system stopped booting with GUI (neither reinstalling video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime, linux*-nvidia, nvidia-utils did not help), so I switched to video-nvidia (taking it as temporary workaround).

no driver…
before switching to only nvidia on your prime/hybrid laptop you should have tried with different kernel;
also typing startx in tty, to check for some logs

Sure, I’ve tried all that. Different kernels, switching to 2nd tty: typing startx, or startplasma-x11, or even sddm with errors like can't open $DISPLAY or ... unable to connect to X server .
And I also took into account your advices in Screen image distortion on resume

there should be log from the failed startx command, usually located in your home/local/share/xorg… if its there post output from it here

you have this, and this should be fixed with different kernels… or reinstalling:
kernels, video drivers, linux firmware and kernel headers if you are using them…

$ pacman -Q | grep headers
linux-api-headers 5.18.15-1
linux-latest-headers 5.10-1
linux510-headers 5.10.147-1
linux515-headers 5.15.72-1
linux519-headers 5.19.14-1
linux519-rt-headers 5.19.0_rt10-3
linux60-headers 6.0.0-1
vulkan-headers 1:1.3.227-1

Could those headers potentially interfere with each other?

i didnt find this package in official repos nor in the aur… it was completely dropped, so you can uninstall it…

also you can uninstall these rt headers with the rt kernel. there is no need to have installed both the normal 5.19 kernel and the rt one, thats of course if you are not using the rt kernel:

Ok. Does it make sense to set GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="" (in /etc/default/grub file) to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="nouveau.modeset=0" ?

no not really, since you are not using open source nvidia drivers, you are using the proprietary one, and nouvea driver is blacklisted anyway, at least it should be…
and also you having black screen on laptop is because you dont have any intel gpu drivers loaded:

but you can of course try to puting the parameter in the command line, you can not go wrong with it in this case

but I had black screen with video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime before also.

well not really, you couldnt boot into gui, but your laptop screen was working (the intel gpu driver i915 was loaded), now that you switched to nvidia on your hybrid gpu laptop, the screen is black, and the intel gpu driver is not being even loaded…

Yes.
For now I reinstalled pacman -Suy linux60-headers linux-firmware nvidia-prime, deleted video-nvidia and video-modesetting, installed video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime via sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300, rebooted and got no GUI.
startx emitted old error with ... Cannot run in framebuffer mode. Please specify busIDs .
Despite of installed video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime driver the inxi -G still shows Intel CoffeeLake-H GT2 [UHD Graphics 630] driver: N/A
I’m writing from startplasma-waylanded interface.

so check with mhwd -li what drivers you have installed…
and you telling me that the laptop screen works on wayland but it still shows driver N/A?

laptop screen does not show GUI and it only shows boot messages (all boot process) and last cli commands.
I see GUI only on external monitor (hdmi) and I’m on wayland now.

$ sudo mhwd -li

Warning: No installed USB configs!

Device-1: Intel CoffeeLake-H GT2 [UHD Graphics 630] driver: N/A

try loading the driver:
sudo modprobe i915
is there any error? if no, check again inxi

$ sudo modprobe i915
modprobe: ERROR: Error running install command '/usr/bin/false' for module i915: retcode 1
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'i915': Invalid argument

it looks like its being blacklisted…
post output from:
ls /etc/modprobe.d
find /etc/X11/ -name "*.conf"

$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
blacklist nv
install i915 /usr/bin/false
install intel_agp /usr/bin/false
$ find /etc/X11/ -name "*.conf"
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-mhwd.conf
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-keyboard.conf
/etc/X11/mhwd.d/nvidia.conf

comment install i915 /usr/bin/false and remove /etc/X11/mhwd.d/nvidia.conf ?

did you blacklisted it? if no, maybe some app did it…and if so it may do it again…
yes disable those lines, put a # at the beginning, then save the file, and run:
sudo mkinitcpio -P
no need to remove the nvidia.conf
reboot
