I have an Asus notebook with hybrid display vga (intel+nvidia, and I don’t care if I can’t use both cards) with that setup:
I want to use the notebook HDMI output with my main monitor (28" samsung which is a 4k monitor but I’m using with the resolution: 2560 x 1440) and the second monitor with this USB-C dock with HDMI output, which is a LG, 23" FullHD 1920x1080). I’m not using the notebook screen, but it works fine if I want.

I tried to follow the instructions here: DisplayLink - ArchWiki with some tips from others websites without luck.
In the end I got a black screen that I was able to solve with timeshift backup.
Currently I just use my 28" samsung connected on the notebook HDMI output.

I recently did a full manjaro clean install, it’s running X11, I checked it.
I also have a desktop that I can use to install the distro and do every type of test that can potentially break my system just to prevent it to happens on my notebook.
Any help will be appreciated.
