I am using Manjaro Stable , Gnome. I’ve been patching using "pamac upgrade " then “topgrade” for some time with no issue , now every patch causes X to fail and GDM to fail. with the
OH No Something went wrong White Screen.
I chatted on Discord where they suggested i post here. Plain Intel driver Might be issue?
I’m using timeshift to pop back to working state - so before I try again over 465 updates i"ll post what is working below- then try to capture same if I have to use tty after patching.

Oh yes I just recalled - when the X will crash and gdm fail - The framebuffer at start of boot ( I think its fb) where normally I see the start of the PC and kernel loading ( if quiet removed) is jsut blocks of white, unreadable until a certain point then JUST before X tries to load it becomes readable - I assume some driver loads then X fails.
