What do people using KDE Plasma use to update things installed with KNewStuff ? (as we can’t use discover with Manjaro).
I found Sera (shell script) for KDE Plasma addons, widgets, plugins, or plasmoids (forked from Adaptifier) :

Do people use it, or something else, or do all KNewStuffs updates separately by hand?
You can use Discover - for user related stuff, and flatpak - just don’t use the packagemanger interface - commonly know ats packagekit.
I regularly use sera to check & update my Plasma add-ons. I find it to be faster than discover (which I uninstalled ages ago).
To check for updates:
sera -c
To install the updates:
sera -u
Although I think it only works for widgets; it only lists installed widgets and not my added icon or color themes when I run the list command:
