Updating kernel results in unable to boot system

You are using hooks to avoid restarting your system even if kernel and modules has been updated.

I think the package is called kernel-alive.

This may cause missing kernel or kernel modules.

I remember a thread on the subject

• Please use kernel-modules-hook instead of kernel-alive!
