Update notification but no updates

Hello,

For about two weeks now, I have had fake update notifications. Trying to update, I can notice that the notification is about OS Updates which updated a few days ago.

clear the cache, update to the 5 fastest mirrors and make a update
sudo pacman -Scc
sudo pacman-mirrors -f5
sudo pacman -Syyu

Remove octopi maybe as it seems is the one that gives that fake notification update.

To get rid of fake update notification of Pamac try to refresh Pamac's DBs:

  1. open pamac;
  2. hit menu icon (currently is 3 hor. lines);
  3. select Refresh databases item.

Pamac’s misleading update notification should be removed now.

I waited for about 10 days, but received no notification. Since then, I have tried all the suggestions to no avail. Attached is a screenshot from today. OS Updates stays gray.

I resolved the issue. I had set the repositories to my country. When I shifted, back to “worldwide”, I do not receive this nasty nofification.
