My system is running Manjaro with gnome. After the update yesterday the mouse no longer works. dmesg shows that it is being correctly recognized in USB. I tried both wireless and wired mice but none are capable of moving the cursor/registering button clicks. Additionally the keyboard sometimes fails to be recognized after reboots, and reboots themselves are extremely slow as it gets stuck on running stop jobs for bluetooth service and RAS daemon as well as the start job for Modem Manager
Solved!, Appears to be a kernel issue. Switching from 5.15 to 5.10 did the trick
