Mouse Flickering Problem

https://youtu.be/RUfnVVZd05o

Hi! To show you guys the situation I recorded a video. :arrow_double_up: When I move my cursor it is flickering like that. I am not sure is it about graphic drivers or hardware. I am using Logitech M705 v2 (not named as v2 but it is the new version) as mouse. If you need any information just tell me what is it and the command how to gather it. How can I fix this? Thanks for your helps.

Additional Infos;
I am using optimus-manager & optimus-manager-qt in nVidia mode. (Means no Integrated graphics running)
Kernel is linux512
Can’t think anything else to mention.

Sorry, we need more information than a video.

Here it is. Anything else you need, sir?

Now that I realized something. It is been 8 hours my laptop is shutdown and there is no flickering. Now I will test is this thing happening after a while or just shutting down was enough. Still, if you need something to diagnose, ask me. Thanks.

If it re-occors use, 5.10 LTS first and then 5.4.

Also, check if there are any BIOS / UEFI firmware updates for your:

:crossed_fingers:

There is a really high possibility of new UEFI firmware but they want me to send my laptop to them for update. (Ugh) There is lockdown etc. so I have to wait for a while. (I guess it ends tomorrow) Will send laptop probably this weekend. Thanks for suggestion.

They should be able to adhere to local COVID-19 rules and have you update the firmware yourself…

If Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, … can do this, why not MONSTER??? You should only ever have to go in if you mess up the update!

I made a research on the net and people says they are providing files if I contact them via mail. (I did a few minutes ago.) But there is a problem. The laptop I use is just a Clevo laptop with Monster brand and as far as I know Clevo only provides updater for Windows. Sooo I guess I will probably dual-boot Windows or create a new forum topic about what can I do. If you are interested I can send you the link of topic if I create one.

That has to be on a Windows or Clevo forum though as Windows is off-topic here…

:sob:

P.S. I don’t have the same kind of hardware you do, though…

I meant a topic about how can I make it work with Linux/Manjaro KDE. :=)
