Merging DownloadUser = alpm into /etc/pacman.conf produces a pacman landlock error for me on linux61:
error: restricting filesystem access failed because the landlock rule for the temporary download directory could not be added!
…edit: 61 perhaps needs additional CONFIG_LSM or lsm= to support landlock sandboxing.
Linux66 and 610 are fine and don’t produce this error. (I’m switching to nouveau drivers on a dated nvidia 710 gpu on my backup machine since I can’t get video-nvidia (470 or 390) to start x on 66.)
