Unable to upgrade Manjaro?

Hello all,
I am currently running this version of manjaro

[pi@rpi ~]$ cat /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_ID=Manjaro-ARM
DISTRIB_RELEASE=20.03
DISTRIB_CODENAME=
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Manjaro ARM Linux"
[pi@rpi ~]$ uname -a
Linux rpi 5.5.11-1-MANJARO-ARM #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Mar 24 08:19:43 CDT 2020 aarch64 GNU/Linux

when I follow the instructions to upgrade the OS, I think pacman fails.

[pi@rpi ~]$ sudo pacman -Syyu

Am I doing something wrong? I definitely have connection to the internet since I'm running nextcloud and pihole on my rpi and they work fine.

Please read up on announcements and keep your system up to date.
