Unable to run Viber under manjaro i3 community edition [SOLVED]

hi there,

I have installed viber from yaourt, but I am unable to run it due to following error:

[svarog@sal9000 ~]$ viber

Have you any idea what can I do to fix this?

thanks

This is an AUR package therefore check the package page first: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/viber . If there’s nothing obvious, remove and reinstall the package (or just try that first).

(moved from #support-for-community-editions to #technical-issues-and-assistance:aur as this is an issue with an AUR package)

I have tried to reinstall - no changes, still getting the error.
I have used the same package with the official edition of manjaro and had no problems.

Solved by a withdrawn post, that’s kinda cool!
So does that mean dependency pulseaudio is missing? If so, we should let the AUR maintainer know! …

I have this problem:
manjaro bspwm-mate
Reinstalled but nothing

Same here…

It seems we are missing something, because viber is working ok at home, running xfce

EDIT

The funny thing is, i can successfully run it on the same machine, on mate. This is what i get:

Final post on this thread (hopefully)

So, after switching to mate, i successfully executed viber, connected and synced with other devices.

Then, when i switched back to i3, viber run without any problem
