sda5 not equal to sdb5 … It is perfectly fine…

Em… its sda5 which is my efi partition… on that quote…

I guess in general, you need to setup the software raid again (assemble)…

sudo mdadm --assemble --scan

It should add all devices to an array…

Then check again:

sudo mdadm --detail --scan

opps sry … my fault

sudo mdadm --assemble --scan
mdadm: No arrays found in config file or automatically

Ok after reading a bit, I came to conclusion that linux does not support the same way of caching like windows does. The NTFS filesystem is somewhat linked to the cache partition so that linux cannot mount it. I guess it is impossible without removing the optane cache in Windows.

Then why ubuntu studio could read/write
on it wothout problem? i guess its manjaro problem then…

Might be an issue with a module or there is no automatic configuration script for that, idk. As said, I also never used Optane or any type fake raid. Always mdadm or if I need a cache: bcachefs :man_shrugging:

At least the vmd module is loaded and detected the device correctly, now one should figure out how ubuntu configure it correctly…

So I can’t help your here, since I have also no hardware to test.

However, there is command line tool for managing optane:

pamac build ipmctl-git

Source Code

Sorry, cannot offer more :man_shrugging:

Ok so I fixed the issue. I feel so dumb i didn’t checked it earlier. I had outdated intel optane driver. Windows Update doesn’t contain it and the Intel DSA stopped working, and windows had no problem to run with outdated driver so i was unaware of it. So I used the Intel Memory and Storage Tool to update it.

Anyway thanks you all for help
