Type of boot in install

I want to install Manjaro, but I don’t know what to choose (boot with open source driver) or (boot with proprietary driver)

Try in this order:

  1. boot with open source drivers (check, if this works)
  2. boot with proprietary drivers.

The installation should finish with one of them.

I installed mine with open source, switching to proprietary afterward. So, basically, you can easily switch between open-source and proprietary.

So since it’s easy to switch, I’d say if unsure, use the open-source drivers and check if proprietary is supported once Manjaro is installed.
