TTY leading to motherboard logo, no access

Similarly to this post (can’t include links so I’ll just post the title url “how-to-get-to-the-console-tty-from-the-gui”)

I have been unable to access the TTY with any shortcuts or launching from the terminal, due to the Asus logo being persistent until I use Ctrl+Alt+F2 to restart the GUI. I’m trying to dump my GPU ROM and thus far it has been unsuccessful.
