I’ve been very diligent in following all suggestions, and it’s still not working, PKGBUILD and shiboken2 are, it seems, the two main problems with Manjaro xfce not recognising those two as it won’t see the AUR database. I’m at a loss…someone with patience please help me.
shiboken2 is definitely a problem here.

Thanks for trying to help out Ben, but the aur.archlinux.org site is something so hard to follow it gives me a pain in the head trying to figure out that site.
I’ll just have to format the whole system and try to get it it all working again as it did when I crossed over from that horror Windows 11 to Manjaro xfce, to me it’s a drastic move, but one that is necessary for my needs. Unless there is a simple fix I’m not one that gives up easily.

This is not output from the command from the first quote.
pacman does not use PKGBUILD when installing packages and it does not update AUR packages.
It looks completely wrong and to me like it looks like XY problem(s).
Do not create random aliases provided with good intentions - please remove all bash aliases you may created as it only confuses the picture.

Cloning shiboken2 gives an empty repository - which means there is no PKGBUILD because it is a split package. This is common within AUR and you need to manually inspect the page to get the correct clone URL.
If you look at the page - it turns out it is really the pyside2 package you should build.
The fact that it is submitted to AUR by a trusted maintainer arojas shows that it is deprecated and replaced.
AUR helpers cannot do the same as a human. A human can verify that a given package is empty - an AUR helper cannot - it will simply fail.
When a helper fails - you must clone it manually, run makepkg, if it fails, resolve the dependencies until you have a working build.

makepkg -si
So what you are trying to build, contains depends on a reference with no PKGBUILD and the error message about the missing PKGBUILD is valid.

Thank you very much as it now works as it should to a point that is good, just still has “failed to synchronize AUR database” but goes through as it should and updates files and upgrades the system. Thanks again for your help.
This is a pamac thing which can be rectified using
pamac update --force-refresh --aur
