and in the proc/interrupts there is:

15: 0 0 XT-PIC mmc0, mmc1, mmc2, idma64.0, i2c_designware.0, idma64.1, i2c_designware.1, idma64.2, i2c_designware.2, idma64.3, i2c_designware.3, idma64.4, i2c_designware.4, idma$

if i boot with acpi=noirq:

[wuschu@wuschu-pc ~]$ dmesg | grep mmc

/proc/interrupts:

3: 0 0 XT-PIC mmc0

but no i2c anymore :frowning: and folder in /sys/bus/i2c/devices/SYN… is not there anymore

But the mmc and the touchpad does not work at all in bouth ways :frowning:

i tryed boot options:

irqfixup, irqpoll, acpi_irq_balance, pci=biosirq, pci=roouteirq, acpi=noirq, acoi_osi=Linux

On windows everything works like it should

my personal opinion is that the problem has something to do with irq. I tried it now for 2 months and didn’t get it to work :frowning:

If this is the wrong forum sry i didn’t find a better one :frowning: And sry for my bad englisch :frowning:

infos to the laptop:

  • The laptop only have one mmc
  • The touchpad is a Synaptics one (i know cause on windows there is a synaptics driver.) i tried the windows driver over wine and ndiswrapper both does not work

xinput:

The name SYNA3602 is an umbrella name and can cover for a lot of different touchpad devices, notably found in lowcost Winbooks.

It is not a synaptics touchpad but a clone with a lot of different names designed to act like a synaptics touchpad under Windows. Manjaro has some support for the obscure touchpad because the #bladebook has a kind of touchpad which required some kernel tweaking.

If you do a lspci you will find a descriptor for the device xxxx:yyyy. This descriptor will be useful when searching for a cause.

I boot now with noapic:

no tuchpad at all even if its in /proc/interrupts

We have had some post relating to this specific touchpad and rest assured - it is not a Synaptics toucpad even the driver for Windows says so.

https://forum.manjaro.org/search?q=SYNA3602

#5

So ok than it’s not an synaptics. I edited the windows Id’s in the post befor.

So if you now thats not a syna3602 what is it then? or better what i can do? :frowning:

#6

You are not the only user with the problem.

https://www.google.dk/search?q=SYNA3602+touchp

You could try installing the package mhwd-i2c-syna3602 if this should solve your issue.

#7

Thanks man  i tryed it and i now get more rrors in log

but the touchpad does not work. You know i searched so much on google and they allways say do this and do this and update kernel but nothing worked :frowning:

i booted with noapic.

i need to boot with noapic or acpi=noirq or the aptop does not boot in any linux Distro

#8

I actually don’t know much about this.

From the output that states ‘unknown escape sequences’ it looks like it might be an obsolete package?

Maybe we should check with the maintainer of the package. Please @philm could you have a look at this?

The laptop vendor - who is it? HP or …

#9

Thanks man for your time . Your great

no vendor is:
