TLP is not installed

I just installed manjaro gnome (minimal) on my laptop. tlp is not installed. should I install it? In previous manjaro installs on my desktop, I saw tlp was installed and enabled by default.

(minimal) so no tlp :slightly_smiling_face:

In any case you can install it and enable the service:

sudo pacman -S tlp
systemctl enable --now tlp.service

do I have to configure it after installation?

Btw is there any other battery saving service installed already instead of tlp? previously even with minimal installation of manjaro, tlp was there.

No default configuration will do fine.

Yes but recently it has been dropped due the number of problems it is causing:
