Tiling script for Xfce

I found winfuncs.sh tiling script in Xfce forums and modified it a bit.
https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=6841

Added few more tiling options, made some changes to compensate for panels and windows decorations and added options to have gaps. Works great on my system with Xfce gtk3-classic (the one that disables CSD)

  • winfuncs.sh select
  • winfuncs.sh tile
  • winfuncs.sh tiletwo
  • winfuncs.sh tiletwol
  • winfuncs.sh tiletwor
  • winfuncs.sh tilethree
  • winfuncs.sh tilethreev
  • winfuncs.sh stacktwo
  • winfuncs.sh cascade
  • winfuncs.sh showdesktop

Script requires wmctrl, xwininfo and xdotool
Get it from my git: https://github.com/crnihr/dotfiles

Yes I get you but for someone who does not want to go full tilled this simply extends Xfce wm capabilities. Bind it to keyboard or use it with mouse gestures it's a great way to extend Xfce windows managing with nothing more then a single script. No learning curve necessary.

It would be helpful to mention that the script needs xdotool to work, which is not preinstalled in the Xfce edition.

Thanks for sharing! :+1:
