Since today’s major update, some of my display is messed up: the dropdown menu where you can power off, and access Bluetooth, WiFi etc… is pretty much broken, and when I went to my extensions to see if one was causing the issue, I saw that a few had been disabled because:
The installed version of this extension is incompatible with the current version of Gnome (undefined).
So it seems like the issue is with Gnome. I usually only use Gnome on Xorg, but I went to check whether or not Gnome and Gnome Classic were also broken on Wayland, and they are.
Thanks for your help. You were right, my issue was exactly the same as this user’s. It was the custom Manjaro Gnome theme that caused the issue, and disabling it from the Extensions app solved the issue.
@Yochanan : you were right too; it turns out the extensions that didn’t recognize my Gnome version are outdated since this update, so not a problem with Gnome.
For clarification and posterity, it was the deprecated Custom Accent Colors extension that was removed from the repos: gnome-shell-extension-custom-accent-colors.
If you had manjaro-gnome-extension-settings installed, it would have been removed months ago as it conflicts with it.
