Hey man … i’m also having problems with the kb and touchpad on my system … If you could help me a bit i would be verry greatfull. :smiley:

evtest lists several keyboards and mouses :

/dev/input/event4: At translated Set 2 keyboard
/dev/input/event5: Intel HID events
/dev/input/event6: Intel HID 5 button array
/dev/input/event7: Intel Virtual Button driver
…
/dev/input/event11: SYNA3602:00 0911:5288 Mouse
/dev/input/event12: SYNA3602:00 0911:5288 Touchpad
/dev/input/event13: SYNA3602:00 0911:5288 keyboard
…

So my usb keyboard is working fine … and if i run evtest :

event4 is picking up the onboard keyboard events .
5 doesn’t pick anything
6 nothing
7 nothing

11 nothing
12 picks up the touchpad input
13 nothing

I would really appreciate some help.

i’m having a simillar issue, my laptop keyboard is not working, can u help me please ?
i tried looking for a solution but nothing worked for me
i’m using an USB keyboard and it’s working fine, bu even if i remove it the laptop keyboard still not working, even in the bios, is it a hardware issue ?
