Last time I saw the SWAPs that calamares was creating … it was always zswap swapfile and it was always 512mb.

This is almost certainly a bug, but I dont know if its been fixed or what.

But I will also note that in the last message above I was describing the functionality of calamares on a live system running with no swap configured (or whatever is the default for live systems, maybe 512?).

Examples as recent as the last few months;

Desktop turns black after signing in, cursor still visible

Extra note … this 512mb swap is so small as to be virtually useless. With 16GB of RAM you might not easily run out of memory but keeping something larger than 512mb would probably make sense. Now to your issue here; Your HOME is full. Thats probably the problem.

Now lets look at module places: ls /usr/lib/modules-load.d grep -E '^MODULES|^HOOKS' /etc/mkinitcpio.conf PS. You have 2 SWAP devices. 1 is a reasonably sized partition … the other is a rather small 512mb swapfile.
