The clock in the tray is frozen, on hover it updates.
Icons in the task manager and system tray start to shake or blink quickly in unpredictable moments of time.
After restarting all worked well and after some time starting shake again.

This also started occurring to me on some occasions, though more obviously with monitoring applets in the taskbar.

Restarting plasmashell (temporarily) solves the issue:

kquitapp5 plasmashell && kstart5 plasmashell

I remember having this in the past, due to some widgets, but forgot which one. I don’t think there is any easy way to find out other than trial and error one by one.
