Mod edit: removed duplicated inxi output

Please use the preformatted text function for the inxi output. It will make it much more readable.

In addition, please give some more information about what the issue is.

@Wishmaster You probably won’t get a lot of help until you post some details about the issue, as was requested earlier:

For example, is it causing an actual issue with your system? Or is it just a warning appearing in the logs?

If it is causing an issue, please describe the issue. It will very much help the volunteers here in working out how to fix it.

I can see 1.8% taken on your 1TB “gnome ssd”. Leaving you 98.2% left on your (usable) 931.22 GiB btrfs file system.

But there are much more efficient ways to get that information.

The capacity of the manjaro gnome ssd is not defined in the system properties

  • The SSD capacity is actually defined, but not in a way you might expect.

You have a Crucial NVMe SSD CT1000E100SSD8 listed with a total sze of 931.51 GiB… which makes it a 1TB drive, difference being decimal vs binary units).

Local Storage: total: 931.51 GiB used: 16.35 GiB (1.8%)

only 16 GiB is currently in use.

Was that all? If this is the entire query, then please let us know if it’s answered with a big :white_check_mark: (otherwise I won’t get paid  )

My problem is that the system properties do not display the disk size.

I can see it using the terminal, but it’s not in the system section of Gnome

Disks aren’t managed through system settings, and there is no “right click/properties” like Windows.

Gnome does come with Gnome Disks, but it does not do a whole lot. But you will certainly see things like capacities.

gparted comes with all Manjaro desktop environments, but this is for advanced partition and file system management. Use with care.

Thank you all for your help and support. I’m trying to understand why one of my computers can display information (attached screenshot) about the disk capacity, but the other cannot. The OS version is the same, the kernel is the same, but the first computer has a hard drive, while the second computer has an SSD. For some reason, the information is not displayed.
![7301|690x462](upload://prvl947TSPfopirUebZGs4y2dH9.png

Best way is to open a terminal and type:

lsblk

The output should look like this example:

[user@system ~]$ lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINTS
nvme0n1 259:0 0 476,9G 0 disk
├─nvme0n1p1 259:1 0 512M 0 part /boot/efi
├─nvme0n1p2 259:2 0 444,4G 0 part /
└─nvme0n1p3 259:3 0 32G 0 part [SWAP]
[user@system ~]$

You can see the complete size of your disk and the sizes of your partitions on the disk.

He has clearly stated what his concerns are.

How about df -h / for example?:

df -h /
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda4 49G 40G 7.3G 85% /

Add the paths accordingly:

df -h /home
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda5 49G 14G 33G 30% /home

or

df -h /home/$USER

Oh! In Settings :right_arrow: System :right_arrow: About. The Disk Capacity field.

Mine comes up as 15 TB. And I don’t even have my NAS mounted, so it’s not even working for me. There could be bugs with this and btrfs. So I would not trust this.

If you want a GUI, that also comes with Gnome, to see how your data is distributed among your drives, or folders. You might like: Disk Usage Analyzer.

Thank you all for your participation and advice. There is no solution. The conclusion is that you should not pay attention to this if the ssd works properly when you access it through the terminal. I thought that the problem could be solved by reassembling udisks2 with Ubuntu patches, as is done in AltLinux. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do this myself. If you can help me, I will be very grateful. However, this topic has been closed. With deep respect to all the participants.
