Hi Manjaro team and community,

I just wanted to take a moment to say a big thank you to everyone involved in developing and maintaining pamac.

I’m the creator of Helwan Linux, a developer-focused distribution based on Arch Linux. Even though Helwan Linux is not based directly on Manjaro, we use pamac and it has been a fantastic tool for both our users and ourselves.

Your work has made it so much easier for people to manage packages and navigate Arch-based systems — especially for newcomers. We appreciate the time, energy, and dedication you’ve put into pamac.

On behalf of our small but growing community, thank you again for everything you do. Open-source projects like yours inspire and empower many of us around the world.
We hope to contribute back to the ecosystem as you have inspired us.

During major upgrades, you should be using pacman on a TTY, not using a graphical package manager.
