A reminder that if a topic has been left unattended for a while – if the OP hasn’t returned with new information – the topic is classed as abandoned, and Moderation staff will close it as a matter of course (sometimes we miss a few).
Reviving old threads (or “necro-bumping” as it’s sometimes called) is not allowed according to forum rules, no matter the intention.

Only the OP is excluded, in that they may continue a topic if it happens to still be open, or if it isn’t, they may contact a Moderation staff member and request that it be re-opened (which is the case in this instance).
While we appreciate that some new forum users may be over-zealous in their desire to participate, this only serves to illustrate the importance of actually reading forum rules (that you agree to by virtue of using the service) and other important guidelines.
