[Testing Update x32] 2018-03-18 - Kernel 4.4, NVIDIA 390.42

update
testing
manjaro32

#1

The start of a new set of updates. I suspect this current set can be pushed quickly to stable, though the updated manjaro-system needs to be checked that it still works OK for i686 systems (there shouldn’t be anything platform-dependent in there, but…).

Highlights are kernel 4.4.121 which somehow got missed previously, and the NVIDAI 390.42 driver for anyone with a 32-bit system and a new GPU (does that combination exist?).

Is x32-testing ready to be moved to x32-stable?

This will inform the snap process; there is no set threshold.

Please vote on the “is it ready yet?” poll but only when you feel this set is tested enough, and has a sufficient number of changes compared to x32-stable. Do keep in mind that x32-stable updates should be less frequent than x32-testing so not every testing update set should need to be moved over.

  • No or Not yet
  • Yes, x32-testing should be snapped to x32-stable at this point
