could you not contact the administrators responsible for the servers you are connecting to and help them mitigate this?

I know, I wrote about a smooth update, that there were no problems, that the kernel was also updated as intended!

This is not necessarily true. logind does distinguish between local logins and remote logins over ssh, and does limit certain permissions to only the user sitting at the physical console.

In this case however, I will agree that the vulnerability would be exploitable by users logged in over ssh, and that it therefore qualifies as a local privilege escalation.

UPDATE: It only seems to be a problem with “Transmission” App, if i set to “Adwaita-dark” it works fine but the accent color stays at default blue, but when i select “Adw-gtk3-dark” it just changes to light mode/white?

Found a problem with the “Adw-gtk3-dark” theme, It’s not dark it’s light/white?

I just moved to Testing and am not sure why this is happening.

The adw-gtk3 developer just added the following to the README:

If for some reason the dark theme isn’t applied to some GTK4 applications, try to add this to ~/.config/gtk-4.0/settings.ini:

[Settings]
gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1
gtk-theme-name=adw-gtk3-dark

BIG Thanks that worked :+1:

Prior to this update I had KDE Wallet disabled (via system settings); I have just now noticed it was enabled after the update. No big deal, but I would expect it should have remained disabled.
