If that is still the case after your last post above I would say your mirror is not up to date with syncing.

I know here I had a ton of updates today on the unstable branch.

Yes it was the problem actually i have only refreshed a couple mirrors before and ran

sudo pacman-mirrors --fasttrack 20

and it finally updated successfully.
