Terminal opens new tab with whit background when pushing "up"

Hi,

since I updated my system today, when pushing “up” in the terminal, an new tab with a inversed color layout (white background, black input) opens. Anyone got any ideas where to search for the cause of that problem? It’s not in my .bashrc (which I blanked) and not a custom keyboard-shortcut.

Later today I switched from 5.4 to 5.10, the problem stayed the same.

Maybe you have set to use a different Konsole profile when pressing the Up key?


In Konsole navigate to Settings > Manage Profiles to double check it.

Thanks for you reply - I did have a different profile set in my settings. I wonder how that happened - must have been part of an update…
