Tarjeta integrada Intel UHD Graphics 630 muestra desktop

Hola,
Hace unos días que he instalado la 19.02 en un PC Intel 9700 con tarjeta integrada Intel UHD Graphics 630. El problema es que al iniciar el sistema este no inicia el desktop xfce y se queda la pantalla en negro. En cambio, si cambio a un terminal (por ejemplo tty2, con crt+alt+f2) y me identifico como usr no root, puedo iniciar el desktop con el comando "startx".

¿Alguien puede ayudarme a localizar el problema?

Mira, yo no soy un experto en Linux, pero lo que se me ocurre es que no tienes un administrador de pantallas installado (Display Manager). Me parece que XFCE usa LightDM, prueba instalarlo "sudo pacman -Syu lightdm".
Lo otro seria un problema con los drivers; Para solucionarlo puedes probar cambiando de "rama", de estable a probando o a inestable (stable, testing, unstable) "sudo pacman --api --set-branch unstable && sudo pacman -Syyu"
Instalaste la iso normal o usaste el Manjaro Architect?

Primero de todo gracias por las respuestas :slight_smile:

Ahora que tenía un rato libre me iba a poner a trastear un poco más, ya que revisando nuevamente los logs dmesg he visto que estaba cogiendo como salida de video por defecto LP1 en lugar de la HDMI. La cosa es que al iniciar nuevamente el sistema se ha hecho la magia y ya arranca correctamente!

Creo que al haber iniciar desde tty2 al desktop y haber tocado configuración del monitor asignando este a HDMI, se habrá guardado correctamente la salida por defecto, pero ya digo que son suposiciones..
