Take a Screenshot of Selected Area & Open as Borderless

There’s a very handy app on macOS that allows you to hit a shortcut and then you can drag your mouse to select an area on the screen. Once you release the mouse, it will automatically take a snapshot of the selected area and then display that image as a borderless window that you can drag and move around while it’s always On Top of all the other windows. This is very handy.

The closest I came to on Manjaro is: Set Shortcut to capture the selected area, and it will automatically save the image to the desktop without opening it.

Any solution / workaround?

Look at flameshot and check the settings for it: General and Shortcuts, quite powerful …

Wow. That has even more options than the macOS equivalent.
