Systemd-networkd setup for vmware network

I recently switched from NetworkManager to systemd-networkd. I have my host network working well but I cannot get my machines in vmware to access the network. I have reviewed the archwiki but that did not resolve the connection problem. I was wondering if anyone else had examples of succesfully connecting to the internet through vmware and systemd-networkd.

Update: I found the problem was not systemd-networkd setting but my virtual machine settings within vmware. The network adapter was set for automatic bridge connection but needed to be set to NAT: used to share the host’s ip address. After making the change everything is working fine with systemd-networkd. Sorry for my error.
