I’m not a pro, but I’ve been using Manjaro for a while now. My system was very fast in all aspect: boot, start a software, etc.
But I noticed about 6 month ago, without changing anything to my system, that at least 2 software are really slow to load: Firefox and the software manager. ALL the rest is still snappy.
When I click on the shortcut for Firefox, it takes about 10 to 15 seconds to open up, where as before it was almost instant, like the rest of my program.
I don’t know exactly what went wrong. And I don’t know what “report” to add in my question for you guys to see what is wrong. Too newbie for that.
Thanks all for the help. I want to avoid reinstalling the whole thing.

Strong of its many members, the Manjaro support forum can provide you help whenever you have an issue with your Manjaro installation. But in order to work efficiently, we shall also ask you to follow three major points.
Provide context
Simply signaling an issue is rarely enough to understand how it occurred. It is thus important to provide details on how it happened:
Detail prior actions leading to the issue.
List solutions and guides you already tried, with links when…
inxi -Fazy
might be a good start.
And … in the off-chance its related to a certain old bug…

Yes, most likely the standard issue with xdg-desktop-portal-gnome being installed on a NON-Gnome desktop environment …

This. You have to remove this.
sudo pacman -Rdd xdg-desktop-portal-gnome
Thank you! I will try this when I get home on Tuesday.
All good now! I don’t understand why suddenly it started to be slow. Anyway…
This was the first time I needed help from this forum. Thank you so much again!
