System won't wake up from suspend

Hi everyone!

Having used other Linux distros for years, I’ve recently distro-hopped to Manjaro (Gnome) for the first time and I’m really happy with it!

There is just one problem:
I can enter standby/suspend but my PC just won’t come back to life again. The lights will turn back on, the keyboard and mouse will light up, but the screen doesn’t get a signal. I then need to reset the PC and reboot. Ofc my current state will be gone. :slightly_frowning_face:

The system log ends like this:
Mai 12 10:10:19 my-pc systemd[1]: Removed slice User Slice of UID 120.
Mai 12 10:10:19 my-pc systemd[1]: Reached target Sleep.
Mai 12 10:10:19 my-pc systemd[1]: Starting Suspend…

I’ve tried doing the same with the live system I used for installing the OS and it works just fine.

What can I do to fix this?

I’m sure you’ll need some additional information in order to help, so please don’t hesitate to ask!

Here’s my inxi sysinfo:

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Try the kernel used in the live iso:

$ sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux510

Thanks!
I have tried that, but it still doesn’t work…

Please note that the inxi output’s graphics section is different on the live system:

Might this help in finding the issue?

Same issue here. Not well-versed in logs, etc. but if someone can help and can tell me how to collect diagnostic information I’d love to help track this down.

I was using Manjaro for about a year without this occuring and then I think something updated that started the problem. I’ve tried doing a fresh install and I immediately have the problem so I believe that it is a new bug/regression.

It isn’t my hardware because I don’t have this problem in Windows or another Linux distribution.
