System showing different gnome versions after update

Settings > About shows “GNOME Version 40.0.0”

This probably indicate app version, which is 40.

While neofetch output shows “GNOME 3.38.4”

That probably indicate shell version which is still 38.

We updated Gnome Apps to 40 . Shell and extensions are kept at 3.38 series.
