do you use btrfs? if yes, it looks like this issue:

Cinnamon Flash usb stops after grub , after most recent update ( today morning)

I have installed Cinnamon Manjaro 64bit two or three years ago on an 500GB SSD Sandisk, with a AMD Cpu , a NVIDIA gpu, with 16 GB ram. This flash us has been used on other pc and has anlways worked. Today, after a suffesfull update with pamac GUI , i have reset and, after going through the grub menu, after 3 or 4 seconds.
