System just freezes when entering Sleep

I’ve reinstalled Manjaro KDE clean yesterday after trying GNOME version of it for a while and now system won’t sleep properly, won’t even hibernate and hybrid sleep doesn’t work at all. I’ve used Manjaro KDE on same system and sleep worked great several months in the past if we look back from this point. So it has to be some sort of recent change.

When I press “Sleep” button in “Start” menu, image just freezes and nothing happens. When I start slapping it on keyboard, it seems like it wakes up, but it hasn’t really even gone to sleep properly.

When set on the sleep timer, I’ve set sleep to happen after 1 minute of waiting an in this case, image goes black, but I can still see mouse cursor. And that’s it. Slapping keyboard wakes it up from what wasn’t even actual sleep. What’s going in?

AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, 8GB RAM, 256GB NVMe SSD, it’s laptop from HP.

Sleep status:
s2idle [deep]

Odd thing is, when I left it for like 3 hours and it went into sleep after display went out in 30 minutes and sleep in 60 minutes, it seemed to work fine. But if I manually initiated it, it didn’t go into Sleep correctly. Is it possible that sleep is broken if display is active, but works fine if it’s off prior system going into sleep?

maybe there is some setting in your display?
also you are running the 6.2 kernel, does it happens with the 6.1 and 5.15 kernels too?
also boot into live usb of manjaro, and test sleep there…
