System freeze after login. I can't do anything else

I had Manjaro installed on my old laptop for a while. Yesterday, after I login, it seems normal. I open the GUI for system updates, it got freeze. No response. I couldn’t soft shut down the system. I had to press the power button to shut down. Then I restarted the system, login, everything is normal. Then I open the chrome browser, and that system freeze again. So basically I can login and that’s all I can do. If I open an app, it gets freezing. Can anybody help me?
Thank you so much.

can you open a TTY ( Ctrl + Alt + F2 To F7 ) and
return

inxi -Fza

Yes, i went into it. Typed that command and gave me a bunch of information. How can I get out of TTY?

Gentle shut down a suddenly hanged PC to minimize a chance of getting a broken filesystem and data loss:

  1. We need all that information to be able to help you…
  2. To “get out” of the TTY, press Ctrl+Alt+F2 if you’ve recently updated your system or Ctrl+Alt+F1 if you haven’t updated in a while… (Let us know which worked)

This is how:

@Fabby

They seem to be using xfce so unless something has changed recently that would be F7. :smiley:

… or just very simply
ALT + left arrow
or
ALT + right arrow
to cycle through
